Supplier didn't file?
You lose the credit.
Every invoice missing from your GSTR-2B is GST credit you can't claim. CredHold chases those suppliers on WhatsApp and email, in your company's name, until the invoice shows up. Then it closes the item by itself.
- Starts from your TallyPrime 2B report
- Suppliers reply without logging in
- Built around the GSTR-3B calendar
Dear Ramesh, Shree Textiles has 2 invoices from Kumar Packaging that are not in its GSTR-2B for Oct 2026. GST credit on hold: Rs 46,960. Please file these in your GSTR-1.
Matching is solved. Chasing isn't.
TallyPrime, BUSY and Zoho already tell you which purchase invoices are missing from 2B. Then someone has to phone 40 suppliers, keep track of who promised what, hold the credit, and reverse it on time. That's the part that slips every month.
Credit for a year can only be claimed until 30 November of the next year. Late invoices become a permanent loss.
If the supplier hasn't filed GSTR-3B by 30 September, credit already taken must be reversed, with interest.
Credit on an invoice not paid within 180 days is reversed and added to your output tax.
Upload once. It follows up every month.
- 01Upload the 2B report
Export TallyPrime's GSTR-2B reconciliation report and drop it in. Excel purchase register plus 2B JSON works too.
- 02Suppliers get chased
WhatsApp on the day 2B arrives, email the next day, the supplier's owner before your 3B is due. Always in your company's name.
- 03Replies come back sorted
"Filed", "will file by 10th", "not our invoice": one tap or a short reply, read and filed against the right invoices.
- 04It closes itself
Next month's 2B shows the invoice, the item is marked recovered and the ledger updates. Nothing to tick off by hand.
A month in the life, in two minutes.
The October 2B arrives, the exceptions are chased, a supplier replies from a phone, and the November 2B closes the loop. Sample data, real product.
- No supplier logs in, ever
- Messages go out in the company's name
- Every message, reply and date kept as evidence
Everything after the mismatch report.
Every invoice not in 2B, by supplier, with the credit at stake and the days left on each clock.
A four-step sequence you can change per company. Utility messages only, opt-outs honoured.
Suppliers share an ARN or a screenshot from their phone. No login, no app.
Upload the next 2B and recovered invoices close themselves, with the date logged.
Credit held, recovered, reversed and reclaimed per supplier, with the 16(4), 37A and 180-day dates.
What to claim, hold and reverse this month, ready for whoever files the return.
Who files late, who replies, who never does. Useful at the next price negotiation.

Straight answers.
Does this replace my 2B reconciliation in Tally?
No. It starts where that report ends. Tally tells you what's missing; CredHold gets it fixed.
Do suppliers need an account?
No. They get a WhatsApp message or an email, and reply there or through a one-page link that works on any phone.
Whose name do the messages go out in?
Yours. The supplier sees your company's name and the invoices they billed you.
Will it stop payments to suppliers automatically?
No. It can flag a hold, and a person approves it. For micro and small suppliers it shows the 15- or 45-day payment rule under Section 43B(h).
What if a supplier asks us to stop?
They tap "Stop reminders" or reply STOP, and they're never messaged again.
We use BUSY or Zoho Books, not Tally.
Upload your purchase register in Excel with the 2B JSON from the portal. Direct BUSY and Zoho imports are planned.
